Day 8

This was our last day in Osborn. We had a great day! We had our last day of VBS, and then some of the group went to rest at the hotel. Others went to see Captain America at the movie theater. Then we went on to the church for Family Night.  Pastor Frank gave out a lot of gifts.  When I say a lot, I mean it. We ended the music part of the night at 7:00, then we finished with the prizes at 7:40. After that, we ate and then back to the hotel. Tomorrow we will leave at 5:00 AM and drive all the way home. We expect to get back to Silsbee at around 11 PM.

Last Year

Day 7

We are almost done painting the parsonage! We still have some touch up work to do, but since we all pitched in today, we got it mostly done. In VBS, today we learned about going into all the nations to teach the Word. We had 33 in attendance today (we have 35 enrolled), and alot of people brought friends. After VBS we worked on the parsanage. Then we hung out with the community at Bible study/fellowship. Afterwards,  most of us went over to Baskin Robbins to get some ice cream. Later, we swam. Tomorrow we have family night for VBS!

Day 6

Day 6 was a hard work day. We are painting the parsonage for the pastor and his family, and today, everyone came to help. It was ABC day at VBS, the most important day, and so far, we know of three people that took steps toward following Christ. Tonight was prayer meeting at church and then back to the hotel to relax. Tomorrow will be pretty much the same thing.

Family Time

Family time is where we go outside to the front of the church, play games, and talk to kids that just walk up to the church because they see us having a good time.

Day 4 out of 10 (Not That We're Counting Down or Anything)

Day 4 was a super start to VBS. We did that from 9-12, then we ate lunch and went back to the hotel. After that, some of us went to scrape the paint off the parsonage. At about 5:30 we ate at the church and then started family time. We had a lot of kids there, and we had a good time.

Day 3

Day 3 was a great day of fun, fellowship, work and good food. We went to church in the morning at 9:00 and then ate lunch at the church. After that, we got to come back to the hotel to rest and swim. Then it was back to the church for the VBS Kick-Off. After that we ate at Ma and Pa's Kettle and then headed back to the hotel to get a good night's rest. Tomorrow we will be at the church at 8:15 for VBS.
